What is Reconnective Healing?
Reconnective Healing is a new healing modality which incorporates the healing frequencies of other energy healing
techniques.
How does it work?
We don't know! Scientists have been studying the phenomenon since it first originated with Dr. Pearl in the
early 1990s, but they are still baffled by what makes this frequency so effective for healing.
What
does it feel like to receive a treatment?
Each
client has a different experience. You will be asked to lay on a massage table with your eyes closed for the duration of the
session. (If laying flat is a problem it is possible to be seated as well). You might become very relaxed, you might feel
physical sensations or "see" colors or images in your mind's eye. You might not "feel" anything at
all but experience physical or emotional shifts later on.
There's
really no telling what might happen for you!
Is this like massage? Will the practitioner have to touch me?
The practitioner does not need to touch the client. This is a hands off process.
So, then, is this like Reiki?
No. If you've had Reiki sessions you will probably be able to tell the
difference right away. In Reiki, the practitioner transmits the Reiki energy to the client. With Reconnective Healing, there
is no energy being sent through the practitioner's hands, simply a connection being made with the Reconnective frequency.
Also, unlike many other healing systems, there is no music, aromatherapy,
incense, crystals or other tools - nothing to distract you from your experience.
Do I need to dress in any particular way?
Not at all, just come dressed comfortably so you can feel relaxed.
How long is the session?
The session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Does this
have a religious affiliation?
No.
Can anyone learn to do Reconnective Healing?
Yes! Once you come into contact with the frequency you might be
able to sense it between your hands. In order to be a practitioner, however, you must attend a Reconnective Healing Seminar
taught by Dr. Pearl or one of the approved Reconnective Healing instructors.
