Emotions
are expressed and experienced through the body. Sometimes, when not able to be fully expressed, they maybe get trapped
in the body, or suppressed. Incorporating the body provides a deeper level of awareness that can allow trapped or suppressed
emotions to be expressed and/or released.
I host a monthly gathering of peace-minded souls. The meetup is based on the premise that the only peace
we can truly choose is our own. We gather on a Friday evening for a short (20-30minute) guided meditation followed by
fellowship and sharing over dinner. The discussion centers around ways that we can cultivate peace in our own lives
and relate more peacefully in the world.
